I had the fortune of meeting NL Blandford in May 2024 at a “Pop Up Mom‘s Market” in First South Lunenburg county, Nova Scotia. She had a booth there and was selling her books. I did not have intentions of buying anything that day, but knowing that she, the author was there herself and selling her book, I purchased the first one.” The Perilous Road to Her”. I had it for a couple months before I actually picked it up to read it. Once I started it, I had a hard time to put it down and finished it in three days. I will admit that the first couple chapters of the first book were a bit too scary for me. So I decided to read the book during the daylight hours. Once I finished, I immediately ordered the next two books. I just finished the road to freedom, and I can’t wait to start the third book, The Perilous Road to Him. If this is this authors, first time publishing a book, she should be highly proud of herself. These books are excellent, and really leave the reader thinking and realizing what actually goes on in places of our world today. WELL DONE MS BLANDFORD!!
This is an imaginative and hard-hitting exploration of what it could be like to be caught in the net of human trafficking. The characters start to seem like members of your own family, so that you hope for the best for them. I highly recommend this book if you like a jaw-dropping adventure.
THIS book. Incredible! Highly, highly recommend. I won’t write anything that could give away any aspect of the novel but let me tell you… you will NOT be able to put this book down once you start, you will need to know what comes next. The author is a literary genius who will keep you captivated from the first page to the last page and you will absolutely be ordering the second book within minutes of completely the first. Don’t just take my word for it, order it yourself!
