Twenty bars of Nazi gold. One chance for justice. Sergeant Barry Rosen runs black-market operations at a displaced persons camp in occupied Germany, 1945. Business is good. But when word surfaces of Nazi gold being transported through his territory, Barry sees the score of a lifetime. Rivka Shapiro—a Holocaust survivor and camp secretary—has spent months searching for any trace of her family. When a letter arrives with news that her brother Yankel survived and is making his way home to Poland, she's determined to reunite with him. Barry has the crew, and the nerve to take the gold. But Rivka's dangerous journey to Poland threatens to derail his careful planning. The heist was supposed to be clean—steal from the Nazis, disappear, start over. But in a world where justice has failed and the guilty walk free, some debts can only be paid in blood.
