Lynn Baxter lives in the South West of England following many years in Scotland. Her career has been bookended by two honours degrees, first in English, and subsequently, with first class honours in Fine Art. In between, she worked in publishing, the theatre, as arts officer for a territory of 2,000 square miles in Scotland, and as commissioner of public art. She is also a professional artist and award-winning sculptor. Her writing has recently gained recognition through awards for short stories and flash fiction. Her intensive knowledge of, and experience in, both the literary and arts worlds gives a particular resonance to the substance of her literary fiction.
