L.K. Latham, the author of the Midnight Whispers urban fantasy series, is passionate for writing worlds where humans and the not-so-humans work in the shadows to fight for peace and justice, and since that world is pure fantasy, she writes about people, human and not human, who work hard to help everyone get along the best they can. Her heroins are smart, strong, and don’t need anyone’s help to save the world, until they do. That’s when their true strengths emerge. Whether they’re cautioning Vampires to be nice, driving Werewolves to their favorite hunting grounds, helping Goblins find good homes, or rescuing a Dragon, these heroines are driven to do right. They build strong teams, letting all members use their best strengths. At the end day the day, when the world is safe, they, like L.K., all love sharing a glass of wine and dining on a slice of fresh-from-the-oven bread smothered with butter. L.K. has a Master of Arts in Literature, taught literature, composition, and e-commerce for many years, and now spends her days writing, reading, baking, and enjoying the latest in Texas wines and bourbons along with a healthy serving of chocolate.
