Larry Feign is an award-winning artist and writer based in Portugal. After buying back thepublication rights to his books from Macmillan Publishers, he began self-publishing in 1991. In 1994 (pre-Amazon, pre-ebooks) he became one of the first indie authors worldwide to sell books on this strange new thing called the "World Wide Web". In the meantime he was a long-time newspaper cartoonist, and directed animated cartoons for Walt Disney Television, Cartoon Network, and independent productions. Today he writes and independently publishes full-time, under his own name and other pen names, including MD Whalen.
