Be prepared. You’re going to be thrown right into the story of Private Investigator Dezeray Jackson. The action begins right away and doesn’t stop. At the same time, Miller’s writing style is both personable and informative. There is nothing sluggish about this book or Miller’s construction of the work. Miller gives readers background information while blazing a trail ahead with the story of a character that you will both want to know more about and that you will, in some ways, identify with. Not only that, but you will be in for some surprises along the way. If you haven’t read any of Kori Miller’s books, you should start here. You will be in for a treat. Kori Miller is a master of suspense and I myself, as a huge mystery fan, look forward to reading more of her work, especially the account of Dezeray Jackson.
