I have a high school history teaching background and over 15 years of experience authoring history textbooks. In 2022, I left both England and the classroom, moved with my partner and young daughter to Copenhagen and started writing fulltime. I have established a copywriting business and continue to author textbooks, write articles, blogs and create teaching resources for a range of companies and charities. I have recently completed my first popular history book. Popular, in relation to its accessibility to readers rather than sales! At the time of writing, it has not even hit the shelves. I am also in the process of self-publishing a book that tells the stories of some of history’s great figures and events. It is a collection of 12 short graphic novels aimed squarely at the teenage/young adult market.
