Jake makes himself tiny in order to save the miniature world of Perex. What… a… read! It is geared towards young adults but I thoroughly enjoyed it. After a few pages I was immersed within the plot. The doomsday atmosphere combined with the suspenseful “working against time” trope made it a quick read. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys science fiction or fantasy. The characters were well-developed and “three-dimensional” flaunting distinct human like moral greyness – I became quite attached! It is always my desire to find new authors, to read fresh voices. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this story, it was such a wonderful read. The story will draw you in right from the start and I can guarantee that you will keep turning the pages, just to find out what happens. A fantasy novel with a unique world, which is so incredibly detailed. While reading this book, you will travel to Perex, discovering Jake and his incredible mission.
