This Christmas, there is a murderer waiting under the mistletoe.

Miss Sampford is a desperate woman.

Someone wants her dead, and she suspects it is someone in her family. Frightened and alone, Miss Sampford reaches out in the hope Clara Fitzgerald can keep her safe from her relatives as they descend for the festive season.

Clara is always quick to answer a plea for help, but the bizarre events at the home of Miss Sampford are almost too much for her. Quickly dragged into the dysfunctional nightmare that is the Sampford family, she finds herself wondering if she has taken on one mystery too many.

As Christmas Day draws closer, Clara seems to find death around every corner and each mystery she solves just leads to further questions.
