Elle M. Stewart is a born-and-raised Californian who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her two cats, eight bags of dice (she counted), and more loose leaf tea than any human can reasonably drink in one lifetime. After getting a BA in Literature and working in publishing for a decade, she now works as a project manager and content editor in non-profit fundraising. Elle is a voracious reader of romance, fantasy, and sci-fi. She also enjoys poetry, memoirs-in-essay, and everything Shirley Jackson has ever written. Her debut novel is Taking Initiative, a nerdy rom-com about rolling dice, taking chances, and overcoming the monsters of the past.
