After a varied career teaching the piano and violin and giving piano recitals I have written books (mainly published by KDP) on history using material I inherited and acquired, EXTRAORDINARY TRUE STORIES OF SURVIVAL IN BURMA WW2 and DANGEROUS DAYS IN BURMA AND CHINA - with true stories from civil wars and WW2 and many historic photographs. My novel A MAN WHO SEEMED REAL is also available in paperback and Kindle and three children's books (age 3-5) are paperback only, A SPIDER WHO CLIMBED, A SPIDER WHO FLEW and A SPIDER WHO ESCAPED. These were inspired by a massive web I saw in our garden stretching across the patio. I have also written PIANO PRACTISING - fresh and effective ways of working with lists of graded pieces. These lists (classical, contemporary and jazz) are based on material the exam board - The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (UK) gave me permission to use. I have also written REALLY USEFUL VIOLIN DUETS for beginners to grade 3 (with a similar book of Viola Duets) which contain fingering charts, basic theory and material based on folk music, popular tunes and original compositions in classical and jazz styles.
