Enigma of Love
Formats: E-Book, Audio, Paperback
Ages: 18+
She loved a killer. She just didn't know which one.
Daquasha Lawrence doesn't exist anymore. She buried that name the day her baby brother died, and she's been Danielle Lewis ever since — a Bronx dancer with a dead mother, a borrowed identity, and a past she can't outrun.
Then she meets Jamil Nevez. Rich, feared, funny, and not ashamed to love her out loud. For the first time in her adult life, she feels safe.
She's riding shotgun the night he empties a nine-millimeter into a man in an alley.
By morning, Jamil is in a cage for murder. By nightfall, his brother has put $150,000 on her head to make sure she never sees a witness stand. And the hired gun coming for her is Tykim Hall — her first love, and the reason her little brother is in the ground.
One of them will save her life. One of them has been lying to her since the day they met.
From the Bronx to the back rooms of New Orleans, from a $130 million score to the far coast of South America, ENIGMA OF LOVE is a ferocious, high-velocity crime novel about loyalty, vengeance, and the terrible arithmetic of the heart — and about a woman who is about to learn that the man who says he loves you is not always the man you think he is.

Reviews
"It took me a minute to purchase and read this story because of the title..I love how Tykim risked his life to save Daquasha/Danielle even after she treated him like trash... I had a feeling that Jamil was shady ... This story kept me on edge and the ending was a shocker ... Where is part 2? Please don't leave me hanging..."
