Idaho. 1880s.

The orphan trio of Allen, Paul, and Chet spend their days toiling away on the cattle ranch that one day they will inherit. Until then, they are under the guardianship of their Uncle Barnaby, a man whose eye is on gold and riches in the hills instead of the backbreaking and dull work of ranching. The teen brothers watch as Barnaby rides off one day to prospect, confident they can handle anything. How wrong they are.

Things immediately get bad for the brothers. They become embroiled in a whirlwind ride of adventure and danger, forcing them to grow up before they are ready. Entangled in a web of rustlers, robbers, and their uncle who has gone missing, Allen, Paul, and Chet fight for everything they hold dear.
