Michael Edge has spent a lot of his life being swept along in the whirlwind that is his parents. Now newly qualified, newly single and at a loose end he looks for a way to make his own mark on the millennia-old Mission of the Tuatha De Danann. The resulting 'career development' sees him coping with natural and human disasters on a scale he had not imagined.

But he has inherited many things and none of them included giving up. With a little help from his friends he has every chance of succeeding, until fate intervenes.
