Charles Harris is a best-selling author, a martial arts black belt and an award-winning writer-director for film and TV. His debut novel: a satirical thriller about fake news and tabloid journalism called "The Breaking of Liam Glass" has featured in Amazon's satire and lawyers & criminals humour best-seller lists both in the UK and USA, and was a finalist for the Wishing Shelf book award for fiction. His non-fiction books have been similarly successful, with “Complete Screenwriting Course” regularly featuring in Amazon’s top 3 for screenwriting. Previously, he worked in radio news and as a freelance journalist, has written award-nominated short-stories worked with Hollywood and TV legends and made international prize-winning films for cinema and TV. He co-founded the first screenwriters workshop in the world - London Screenwriters’ Workshop - now Euroscript. He has helped Calais refugees and African presidents, fallen down a mountain in the Caribbean and taught Aikido to police and criminals. He has a wife and two cats, who live with him in London, and two sons, who don’t.
