After reading the first Mrax book (Alienship), I just had to find out what happens next. The adventures of Ky and Fay become ever more dangerous but what I loved most about this book was how we get to see more of life on Mrax, including their customs, traditions and all the wonderfully colourful creatures. Even though this book has been written for young teens, I love the imaginative way this other world is brought to life. The adventure of the story is also gripping. You can't help but to read on - will Ky and Fay be able to save everyone? And what does this mean for Earth? The battle isn't over yet, and I can't wait to find out happens!
This is a great book. My 11 year old son read the first one and demanded to buy this second one the minute it was published. A real page turner for him and, if I care to admit, for me too! He cannot wait for the third instalment!
