Angela Buckley is a historian and author, specialising in true crime, Victorian and Edwardian detectives, and the history of forensic science. She has a PhD in historical police detective practice. Angela's first book was The Real Sherlock Holmes: the Hidden History of Jerome Caminada. She has also edited and published two anthologies of his memoirs. Her most recent book is The Bermondsey Murder: Scotland Yard's First Great Challenge and Dickens' Inspiration. She is currently writing a series of true crime books for publication. Her work has featured in national newspapers and magazines, and she has appeared on radio, podcasts and TV. She is represented for media work by Past Preservers. Angela is a member of the Society of Authors, the Historical Writers' Association and the Crime Writers' Association. Originally from Manchester, she divides her time between Cowes and London.
