A.G.R. Goff is a psychological thriller author whose work explores obsession, identity, manipulation, and the unstable line between truth and control. Her fiction spans multiple settings, including Spain, the UK, the US, and South Africa, and is known for combining psychological tension with emotionally driven character conflict. She is the author of two series: Mind Games, which follows Ema’s search for her true origins across several countries, and False Friends, a Málaga-set series centred on Instituto Guerrera, a private language school hiding darker motives beneath its welcoming public image. Born in Leipzig, East Germany, Goff has said that growing up in a world shaped by secrecy, division, and political upheaval continues to influence the psychological depth of her fiction. After spending years in the United Kingdom and South Africa, she now lives in Spain, where she draws further inspiration from multilingual settings and cultural tension. Her novels are characterised by moral ambiguity, layered characters, and an interest in how pressure, memory, and control shape human behaviour.
