ALLi receives no payment, percentage, commission, affiliate fee, or revenue share from sales here—proceeds go directly to the author (or their fulfilment partner). Our benefit is mission-driven: increased visibility for our members’ great indie books and a stronger indie ecosystem.

How do purchases work?
When you choose a book, you buy from the author (or their fulfilment partner). Delivery, formats and support are detailed on each book’s page.
Do I need to be an ALLi member to buy?
No. Anyone can browse and purchase.
Are prices the same as elsewhere?
Prices are set by each author and may vary. Lower pricing is often a benefit of buying directly from the author. Periodically the Indie Author Bookstore will organise ‘Discount Days’ and seasonal offers
What about refunds or returns?
Policies are set by each author or their fulfilment partner. See the information on the book sales page or at checkout.
I’m a reviewer, blogger, librarian or bookseller — is this for me?
Absolutely! The Indie Author Bookstore is for everyone who reads, recommends or writes about indie books. Daily features and themed shelves make discovery quick and useful. Drop us an email if you’re not finding what you need.
For Authors
How do I add my book to the store?
You need to be a paid-up author or authorpreneur member of the Alliance of Independent Authors. Not a member yet? Join ALLi to list your books and be eligible for daily features, themed shelves, and seasonal promotions.
I’m an eligible ALLi member — how do I list my book?
Visit the ALLi Member Website for guidelines on eligibility, quality standards and how to submit. We’ll do a light standards check and, if all’s in order, publish your listing so readers can buy direct from you (or your fulfilment partner).
How are books selected and featured?
Titles are listed by ALLi members. Five books are featured daily, with rotating themes and seasonal promotions to aid discovery across genres. We aim for a balanced spread across genres, styles, regions and voices—emerging and established. Daily features balance themed/seasonal picks, staff picks, rising indie and community choices. No pay-to-play of any kind. Outcome: a daily, joyful showcase that helps readers discover outstanding indie work—confidently, fairly and in the spirit of supporting authors directly.
How can my book be considered?
Make sure your book listing is complete and up-to-date and your book adheres to professional guidelines.
Can I submit my book for consideration by the ALLi team?
No. Please don’t lobby the ALLi Team or individual staff. Requests for placement will be automatically refused.
